The Castellare farmhouse is located in the commune of Chiusdino, next to the old town of Montalcinello, surrounded all around by the breathtaking countryside of Siena. The farmhouse has been recently renovated with particular attention to maintain the original structure and the particular details of the Age, and has been shared into four holiday apartments.
Each apartment is elegantly furnished and endowed with all the needed comfort in order to grant You an unforgettable stay in Tuscany.
A real oasis of peace and relax, merged in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, where spending the whole day in the swimming pool, taking long walks in the paths through the woods all around the farmhouse - where it is still possible to meet and observe wild animals like roes and hares, and, in autumn, to look for mushrooms and chestnuts - or planning cultural excursions in the near cities of art of Tuscany: Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Massa Marittima, Volterra, Lucca and Pisa. The Castellare farmhouse is also a fantastic departure point for visits to the ancient medieval suburbs of Chiusdino, Radicondoli and Monticano, to the famous Abbey of St. Galgano and the hermitage of Montesiepi.
Each apartment of the Castellare farmhouse has its own independent entrance. The apartments can also be joined together using them as a sole large Villa - except for the Scoiattolo apartment - to welcome executive guests or groups. We have satellite Tv, bikes and a small laundromat.
